hi I'm 20 weeks pregnant , I just can't get comfy I've tryed the pregnancy pillow but ain't working any advice on helping me sleep please thankyou xx

    Hi I found it was my mattress try gettin a quilt n putting it on ur mattress before u put the bottom sheet on hope this helps as it did me n we have kept it like this ever since ;) xx

    make it as comfortable as possible, now that the weather's colder you can use some soft blankets. sleeping on your side also helps xx

    i also slept very badly during the last weeks of my pregnancy, i did a whole ritual with a bath and everyhing like a baby! and i fell asleep fine but I kept waking up. find something that relaxes you and do it at night, and the comfy mattess and blankets are also important. try different things and see what works xx

    well I've tryed the quilt on the bottom and some extra soft blankets , and tryed on my side but nothing is working , maybe I ain't gave it long enough , I just hope something works soon

    Well my lovely it might just be ur agitated try relaxing before bed hav a bath chill n do anything that relaxs u me lovely fresh bedding maybe get ur partner to give u a massage
    I'm not saying ur dirty babes I promise just trying to think of what I wud do in ur situation
    I'm 15 weeks n I'm surrounded by pillows lmao xx

    Im 17 weeks and thankfully have no issues but i make sure im shattered before I attempt sleep and to clear my mind. And usually drop straight off but im on second so maybe im more used to it xx

    I hope your not like me!! I am nearly 31 weeks, i cant remeber my last full nights sleep, guarenteed i ill have two baths if a night. I cry in pain with my back upon moving and despite painkillers, herbal heat rub, pillows and blankets comfort is a luxury 9 weeks away :(

    I have found some things that improve my chances of getting a good night’s sleep and they are as follows:
    - Limited alcohol generally and no alcohol within 3 hours of bedtime.
    - No caffeine within 6-8 hours of bedtime
    - Intense cardio exercise (but not within 2 hours of bedtime)
    - Get outside in daylight for at least 20 minutes
    - Walk outside for at least 30 minutes during the day (this combines well with the daylight requirement)
    - Use the CBT-i Sleep App (iOS only). Has all kinds of awesome resources for sleep!
    - Worry log: Before bedtime, I take out a paper notebook (NOT mobile device!) and take 5-10 minutes to write down everything I’m worried about, or stray thoughts, to-do’s that I have in my brain. Clears out the clutter nicely.
    - Rigorous sleep hygiene
    - No screens (tablets/phones/tv) in the hour before bedtime
    - Regular bedtime
    - Dark bedroom
    - Cool bedroom
    - Quiet bedroom and/or white noise
    - Comfortable mattress and pillow. These things are very important! If you have bad mattress I recommend to buy good mattress topper, it is not so expensive but can really help to sleep better.
